I propose that we.. is an intervention regarding the idea of the proposal as a ritual act that can encompass a number of interpretations. Throughout the course of the event, I proposed to a number of people of different nationalities, genders, ages, and marital statuses. The proposal: to be decent human beings, act with compassion, and act without fear.
